Welcome to The Summit Hash House Harriers (Summit H³) web site! The Summit H³ are a mixed group of adult runners embarking on non-competitive fun runs set in the "Hare and Hounds" style every Monday evening during the summer at 7pm, and every Saturday afternoon in the winter at 3pm. 2 School Lane, Roosevelt NJ

On-On :    ‘House of Sex’, somewhere in Roosevelt, NJ

               

A challenging ‘A to B’ trail is to be expected thru the swamps & jungles of the ‘Ass-in-pink’ Wildlife Management Area and greater Roosevelt metropolitan area.  Wearing long shiggy pants is advised! A ‘walker/cane-friendly’ trail may also be available. Pack a dry bag, an extra set of footgear & undies and don't forget to bring your jammies as on-on/-on will  be complete with quality beer, firepit and hash song exchange. 

There off course is a camp-out option: Pitch a tent in the rear of the 'House of Sex' otherwise bring a sleeping bag for other crash space options.  Come out earlier if you want to set-up.

 

To help out - if your Birthday is on an even-day: bring an appetizer/snacks; if your BD is on an odd-day: bring a dessert or breakfast item; if you don’t know when your BD is: bring beer.  But now you ask: “Where the heck is Roosevelt ?” 

 

Get in car and drive to NJ Turnpike North or South Exit 8 - Hightstown/ Freehold/East Windsor exit.  After Exit 8 toll booth - bear right and follow Rt 33 East for approx. 0.5 miles to 2nd traffic light and turn right onto Milford Road.  Go about 1 mile to the end of Milford Road and turn left onto Etra Road (Rt 571 East).  Go about 2 miles on Rt 571 and bear right towards "Roosevelt/Clarksburg" and continue approx. another 1 mile on Rt 571 South (also N Rochdale Ave).  As you enter the Borough of Roosevelt (don't blink) on Rt 571 South, turn right on Pine Drive (the 1st right as you pass Roosevelt Municipal Building).  Turn the first left onto School Lane and go to parking lot and park it.

 

Alternately if NJTP is backed up near Exit 8A coming from the North  --- exit NJTP at Exit 8A Cranbury and stay left after toll and loop around to Rt 612 East (Forsgate Drive).  Turn right at 1^st intersection onto Rt 619 South (Applegarth Road).  Continue about 5 miles on Applegarth Road and cross over Rt 33.  Continue about another 1 mile to the end of Applegarth Road (Rt 619) and turn left (it’s pretty rural near here so don’t worry if you see a lot of farms/fields).  This will be Disbrow Hill Rd.  Go ¼ mile and turn 1^st right onto Battleground Road.  Go to end of Battleground Road and turn right onto Rt 1 and then a hard left onto Rt 571 South.  Pine Drive will be on your right.
